Reasons for Recurring Yeast
Infections
What are the main reasons your recurring yeast infection
that keeps coming back?
1. Yeast infection is not caused by bacteria but by a fungus.
In fact, there is a bacteria that lives in your body that
actually helps control the fungus that causes a yeast
infection. Most medicines and ointments will relieve the
symptoms of recurring yeast infections, but they also kill the
“good friendly” bacteria that helps control the fungus. So, the
fungus grows back at a more aggressive rate than before and the
infection gets worse.
2. The fungus lives and grows on the food that we eat. Certain
food will be particularly attractive to the growth of yeast
infection.
3. Although a yeast infection is not contagious by being in the
vacinity of a person who is infected, the spores of the fungus
can be passed between people by contact. If the spores of the
fungus come in contact with a person and these spores find a
nice warm moist place to live, then they will make a home and
grow more spores.
As long as a conducive environment exists for the fungus,
recurring yeast infections will continue.
So what can be done about recurring yeast infections? There
are natural products that kill the candida fungus and leave the
bacteria alone. There are also cleaning diets that do the same
thing.
